Audience Feedback
After completing our film we decided to get some feedback from our target audience to make sure they understood the point of the film, to see if they related it to James Bond in anyway and whether they enjoyed the film, the general opinion on the editing of the film and titles. So we asked some teenagers opinions of our film that were the ages 16 and 17 which would be the similar ages of our target audience.
Sam and Laura said:
Laura thought that the title on our own institution was good. Sam thought that the concept around our film opening was good because James Bond is a serious mission film and she liked the way our film was created to be funny but still related to James Bond however she thought that in our scene of Janet Blond in the cafe there was too much background noise.
Sarah said:
Sarah thought that our own 'Lovely Jubbly' institution was good she particularly liked the balloon effect. However she felt that the 'New Line Cinema' institution filming was a bit shaky in parts. She also liked how the film ended except she mentioned during the fighting scene the editing cuts really fast between two scenes.
Jacob said:
Jacob said that he liked our film, he thought it was very funny, he particular found the part when Janet Blond fell off the bed. He also liked the music added in the background of the 'Lovely Jubbly' institution. He found that the only improvement to our film would be to re-film the 'New Line Cinema' institution as you can see the reflection of the camera in the filming.
Technology used
The technology we have used during our film includes a video camera, tripod, digital camera, editing laptop, firewire which enable us to upload our flim to the laptop. Voice recorder which we used to record our directors commentary. Flip video which we used to create our animatic, this was part of the planning process. All this technology has helped us make our film the best it can be.
Basic laptop
Specialist editing laptop
Flip video
Tripod with attached video camera
Video camera
Voice recorder
We used the programme pinnacle 11 to edit our film.
Sound effects
We have chosen specific music which goes with the conventions of a spoof, as we have used James Bond we have chosen a tune which is similar to that of the James Bond theme tune to make the connections for our audience so they know that our film is relating to this. We have also added music to our production company to make the company appealing to our audience when they hear and see the logo of this it will give our audience an idea of what sort of film is to come so we have chosen an upbeat happy tune to make the audience feel like the film is going to be funny.
Editing
In using the programme pinnacle we have been able to edit in our fighting scene to make sure that the clips don't overlap. We have also used this programme to computerise the titles of our film, as we wanted them to fit the conventions of a spoof film. We have also been able to use effects on our main titles and productions to make them look specific to a spoof, as in a film opening the titles don't just appear on the screen so for our Lovely Jubbly production company we have used a balloon effect to make the logo look more interesting for our target audience. For our Janet Blond title we have used the effect of our title folding up and ending in a circle because in the James Bond films they used a cirle around there main title so to make the link between our film and James Bond we decided to do this.
Below are some print screen shots of the editing of our titles and other editing that we have done throughout the process of our film making.

This is an effect that we added in between the two institution to make them flow one after another.
Here is the balloon effect called 'Hollywood FX for studio' which we used on our Lovely Jubbly production company
This is the different fonts we had to choose from to do the different titles we chose a plain white font to stand out from the dark background.
This is a swirl effect animation which we used on our film title of Janet Blond we used this particular animation because it links to the similar title of James Bond which also uses a circle around the title.
This is a print screen of how it was saved as an MPEG after it had been finalised.
Filming sessions
We planned to go to my auntys house twice a week until all the filming was finished, these days were a wednesday and thursday afternoon when we had a double period of media which were 100 minutes long, this gave us plenty of time to get to the house and start filming the specific parts that we planned for each day. We were very successful in using our time wisely when we started filming although during the start of our filming we had many problems with the equiptment, we started off by filming a scene without a tripod which was unsuccessful and very shakey so we then had to rearrange a different time to film that section. We achieved alot in each of our sessions but we found it difficult to keep filming outside of school as we realised we didn't have enough time in these lessons to complete all of the filming so we started going afterschool to make sure it was finished in time. We have created mise-en-scene by making sure that Janet Blonds room is girly. We have used many film conventions in our film opening which are 180 degree rule, match on action, panning, close ups of each character in our film. We came across many problems with the storyboard and planning of our film as the location didn't fit with our plan of laser dancing so we had to re-arrange are film which took up one of our filming sessions.

Janet Blond Title
The title of our film is very important as we wanted the audience to see that our film was a spoof of James Bond so using the original James Bond title we created our own 007 Janet Blond by creating the 7 into a sidewards shoe which looks like a 7 instead of a gun this will get across to the audience that it is an off take of James Bond it also shows humour that men fight with guns and women fight with shoes. Above you can see the comparisons of the two titles and how we have created our own.
